The visit was on January 27 with the purpose of welcoming and addressing leaners about crime, issues of safety and teaching them how to report crime.

This was part of back-to-school campaign run by the SAPS.

During his presentation, Primrose SAPS corporate communications officer Sergeant Styles Maome discouraged learners from bullying each other and encouraged them to behave.

“Their main priority is to learn and be educated.”

Police also educated learners about statutory rape.

“Last year we experienced a lot of teenage pregnancies as a result of statutory rape,” said Maome.

“The station commander, Colonel Eunice Nzuza commended the stakeholders for helping the police to convey such an important message,” said Moame.
