Head-on collision on N11 claims two lives
A head-on collision on the N11 about 10km outside Ermelo has caused major traffic delays as emergency services work on the scene.
A head-on collision occurred on the N11 earlier this afternoon, about 10 km outside Ermelo towards Amersfoort, between two light vehicles.
All emergency services are on the scene, including police, traffic officials, towing services, firefighters, and pathology personnel.
Traffic is queuing up in the area as authorities manage the incident.
Two people, a man and a woman, from one vehicle, tragically lost their lives. Two young girls from the same vehicle were also injured, one with life-threatening injuries and the other with less severe injuries.
The female driver of the other vehicle reportedly sustained minor injuries.
