Ermelo bakers invited to support Ermelo Toyota’s Legend Fest charity cupcake drive

Cupcake donations will help fund a roofing project for a local animal shelter caring for animals just outside Ermelo.

ERMELO – Highvelder will take part in the Ermelo Toyota Legend Fest on June 20 by hosting a cupcake stall as part of the day’s fundraising activities.

Cupcakes will be sold at R5 each, with all proceeds directed toward charitable initiatives supported by Ermelo Toyota and the Ermelo Toyota Knights.

This year’s proceeds from the fundraiser will specifically assist with constructing a new roof for a local animal shelter outside Ermelo that cares for animals in need.

The Highvelder team aims to reach a target of 1 000 cupcakes and is calling on the community to help us bake and donate cupcakes in batches of 12 or 24, or larger quantities if possible.

Donations can be delivered to the Highvelder offices at 43 Kerk Street on June 19 or on June 20 at Ermelo Toyota between 07:00 and 08:00.

If you know someone who can bake, please share this with them. If baking isn’t for you, come support our stall at Ermelo Toyota on June 20.

Past Ermelo Toyota Knights initiatives have supported a range of community projects, including infrastructure upgrades at care centres, food gardens, elderly care contributions, and donations to emergency services, among others.

The Highvelder continues to promote community participation through fundraising initiatives that support local welfare projects and organisations.
