AJ Swanepoel Stadium hosts Ermelo Super Games
With free entrance and a wide range of activities, the event provided a day full of fitness, fun and friendly competition.
The AJ Swanepoel Stadium in Ermelo played host to an exhilarating sports event on June 16 that attracted a large number of participants and spectators.
From 08:00 to 16:30, the stadium was abuzz with excitement as residents young and old participated in various activities.
Aerobics, cardio workouts, and a fun run were free of charge. Attendees had the opportunity to register for these activities between 08:00 and 09:00.
The highlight was the track events, featuring three exciting races. Participants competed in the 5km, equivalent to 12 laps around the track. Another popular race, the 1.5km, required participants to complete four laps. For those with a need for speed, the 100m sprint was ideal.
One of the highly anticipated attractions was the epic showdown between Sanele and Ermelo Hulk in a wrestling match. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as the two formidable competitors displayed their strength, agility, and wrestling skills, but unfortunately, Sanele lost against the mighty Ermelo Hulk.
Another thrilling match featured Viper taking on T-Man, resulting in a nail-biting contest that captivated the spectators, ending with Viper as the victor.
