The Western Family Fest event will be held on November 30 at Farm Eikehof on R56 on the Amsterdam Road, just outside Ermelo.

Ermelo is gearing up for an unforgettable day of fun, action, and family entertainment as Barrel Racing South Africa (BRSA) hosts the Western Family Fest on Saturday, 30 November.

The event will be held at Farm Eikehof on R56 on the Amsterdam Road.

This highly anticipated event promises something for everyone, making it the perfect outing for the whole family.

Visitors can look forward to a spectacular lineup of entertainment, including:

  • Barrel racing
  • Pole-bending
  • Coca-Cola Race
  • Motorbikes vs. horses
  • Mounted shooting
  • Dummy roping

Adding to the excitement, the event will feature a Rodeo King and Queen competition, where attendees can compete for the title of best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl.

The festival atmosphere will be complemented by food stalls, a refreshments tent, live music, and a dedicated kids’ area to ensure fun for all ages.

The entry fee is just R20 for attendees aged 12 and older, while children under 12 can enter for free.
