Ermelo eight-ball teams rack up wins
An eight-ball showdown took place at the Phatboys Pool Club with Ermelo dominating the tables.
Phatboys pool club was the place to be on March 30. Eight-ball teams from Ermelo faced off against the Davincis from Bethal.
Each team comprised of three players, with each player competing against all three members of the opposing team.
The Ermelo teams, playing on their home turf, were determined to show off their skills against the visiting Davincis squad.
Comfort Nhleko, Piet Sikosana and Khaya Mhlangu of Phatboys (team 1) had a perfect round, winning all four of their matches.
Their impressive scores included a 9-0 sweep against the Samurais, and 7-2, 7-2, and 8-1 victories against the DV Reapers, Vikings and Spartans respectively.

Phatboys (team 2), featuring Neels Botha alongside rookies Piet Skhosana and Thandoh Vilanculas, faced a series of narrow defeats. They lost 4-5 to both DV Reapers and Samurais, and then 3-6 to Spartans and Vikings.
Phatboys (team 6), with Lincoln Mavuso, Ashley Bruce and Thato Sebothoma, secured three wins in their four matches.
They triumphed over the Vikings (5-4), Spartans (6-3) and Samurais (6-3), with their only loss coming against the Reapers (4-5).
Phatboys (team 7), with Sylvia Nolan, Shane Nolan and Shannon van Wyk, won three of their four matches.
They secured victories against the Spartans (6-3), Samurais (7-2), and Reapers (6-3), with a loss coming against the Vikings (3-6).
