Chess wizzes compete at Laerskool Ermelo

Laerskool Ermelo played host to a chess tournament on April 12.

Competing schools were Laerskool Ermelo, Laerskool Breyten and Ermelo English Primary School.

The following learners from Laerskool Ermelo obtained medals:

• Taele Mamabolo U9) – second place
•  Minenhle Seemela (U9) – first place
•  Azande Kuhlase (U9) – second place
• Avumile Vilane (U9) – third place
• Inami Dladla (U11) – third place
• Oratile Mokoena (U11) – first place.
