24 of Ligbron's hockey players have been selected to represent Mpumalanga in the 2025 provincial hockey season.

Ligbron Academy of Technology’s talent shines bright with 24 of their hockey players having been selected to represent Mpumalanga in the 2025 provincial hockey season.

This achievement highlights Ligbron’s strength across multiple age groups, with its players making up a substantial part of the provincial teams.

The selected boys are Rihandzu Mahlangu, Lethu Maseko, Lindo Mashiyane, SJ Monyela, Reghardt Schoonraad, Wandile Gwiji, Samkelo Shongwe,

Olwande Dladla, Michael Ronquest, Magoporutsi Tladi, Mahad Qureshi, Katlego Mogale and Thato Mogotsi.

On the girls’ side, Bayanda Msibi, Success Nkosi, Nehi Mohlokoane, Katlego Mavimbela, Rethabile Ledwaba, Helena Myburgh, Berné Wentzel, Aphelele Biyela, Anja Serfontein, Kwenama Mvakali and Marjolé Scheepers made the cut.

The players were selected after a series of trials and will now compete at provincial level, representing Mpumalanga in their respective age divisions.
