EEPS athletes head to Gert Sibande District meeting

Ten Ermelo English Primary School (EEPS) athletes have been selected to compete in the Gert Sibande District Athletics meeting on February 14 in Secunda.

“We are very proud of your hard work and dedication. We wish each learner the best of luck for the competition. Represent our school with pride and enjoy the experience,” said the principal, Marinda Kriel.

The qualifying athletes are:

• Sima Sithole – 100m
• Mpilo Zimu – 80m, 70m hurdles, long jump
• Fisokuhle Mango – 100m, 200m
• Uma Tshwala – high jump, 100m
• Luthando Zwane – 80m, 100m
• Ulilitha Dladla – 150m, 100m
• Amahle Vilakazi – long jump, 100m, 150m
• Isabella Mahlangu – high jump
• Udoka Ikewote – shot put
• Lesego Moloi – 70m hurdles
