NPSS learner advances to provincial table tennis tournament

This performance earned Sinenhlanhla Msibi of Netherland Park Secondary School a coveted spot in the upcoming provincial competition.

One of Netherland Park Secondary School’s promising young athletes, Sinenhlanhla Msibi, will soon represent Mpumalanga at the Provincial Table Tennis Tournament in Tshwane, scheduled to take place from December 13 to December 16.

Msibi’s journey to the provincial level began at the recent Inter-district tournament in Middelburg on October 12, where he competed in the U 14 category alongside fellow learner Neo Nyamande.

Msibi secured second place by winning six of his seven matches.

This performance earned him a coveted spot in the upcoming provincial competition.

NPSS’s table tennis players, including Msibi and Nyamande, are coached by Susan Nyirenda, whose dedication to the team has been instrumental in their achievements.

The school said it is immensely proud of Msibi’s accomplishment and looks forward to supporting him as he prepares to compete on a larger stage.
