Dress up for Durban Pops

Durban Pops takes place on Saturday, 16 November at the Durban City Hall.

THE Rotary Club of Kloof’s Durban Pops, in Association with Adapt IT, takes place on Saturday, 16 November, at 6.30pm at the Durban City Hall.

The high profile charity event, held in conjunction with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra, will be a sensory extravaganza with a Great Gatsby theme.

Residents are encouraged to dress up in fabulous feathers and pearls, and to join the party. It is the perfect end of year function to entertain clients, staff, family and friends.

The Rotary Club of Kloof encourages residents to book a table of ten for R5 000 and enjoy a three course meal, wonderful classical and contemporary music, all in support of a worthy cause.

The cost of the table includes beer, wine and soft drinks. Please contact Ian Forbes on fourbees@iafrica.com to secure a table. Only a few tables remain, so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

Circle seating is a further option for a lively evening’s entertainment. Individual tickets in the upstairs circle cost between R200 and R220 per person. This price includes snacks, wine, beer and soft drinks. Bookings for these tickets can be made through Webtickets. isit www.webtickets.co.za.

All profits from this glamorous event will be allocated to projects undertaken by the Rotary Club of Kloof, with the main beneficiary being SMILE (St Mary’s Interactive Learning Experience). SMILE is a community-based organisation that evolved as a result of an urgent need in education to develop the English language skills of isiZulu speaking learners and their teachers.

The Rotary Club of Kloof thanked Adapt IT for their on-going support and for sponsoring the Durban Pops for six consecutive years. Adapt IT is a steadily growing, innovative ICT company based in South Africa, serving customers in the manufacturing, higher education and financial services sectors.
