Bargains galore at annual Doone fete

DOONE Village will hold its popular annual fete at its venue on Beare Drive, Pinetown on Saturday, 28 October from 8am to noon.

There will be plenty of bargains from home-made cakes, preserves, plants, gifts, jewellery, needlework, children’s goodies and knitting to books, jigsaws and DVDs.

There’s also a lucky dip stall, the popular Christmas stall and a favourite, the White Elephant table and nearly new and bargain clothing stalls.

All conveners and helpers are from Doone Village.

The refreshment stall will be open from 8am.

There will be bacon and egg rolls on sale in the morning and hamburger rolls, boerewors rolls and cool drinks for sale, as well as a tea garden at the pool area.

There’s the popular raffles, including a bumper Christmas goodies hamper, and a chance to win a holiday at a resort. Card facilities will be available.
