New Pinetown market offers scope for crafters
The Vegas Art and Craft market was started to empower crafters and bring life in the Pinetown area.
A NEW arts and craft market is expected to bring life to the Pinetown area and has been introduced in 81 Stapleton Road outside the Vegas Sport Cafe.
At the moment, people can put up their stall at no charge, provided they sell homemade items.
Organiser of the market, Pam Singh, said she started the market to try and empower crafters and to bring life to Pinetown.

“At the stalls, people can buy veggies, fruits, jewellery, second-hand clothing, firewood stands, dog food, honey, wood craft, plants and herbs, vetkoeks, wors rolls, biltong, African attire, shoes, organic eggs, milk and cheese,” said Singh.
The Vegas Art and Craft market is open on Thursdays from 8am to 2pm and on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
Sellers need to take their own tables.
