Bank the Cash with Sister Cosmos

Trevor Reid

The Visionaire filly runs in Race 3, a FM 76 Handicap over 1200m at Greyville tonight.

Both trainer Sean Tarry and jockey Anton Marcus are champions in their own right and when they team up are deadly and I will be looking for Sister Cosmos to be the banker bet at the Greyville Polytrack tonight.

The Visionaire filly runs in Race 3, a FM 76 Handicap over 1200m.

Sister Cosmos won on debut in her only taste of the Polytrack and was not disgraced when placed in her next three starts.

The three-year-old filly was runner-up to Simla in her second start, then fourth to Shezaleader in a Graduation Plate and then runner-up to Ginger Biscuit when ridden by Marcus in her very latest.

Biggest rival to her is the well-drawn Victory Takeover but it may be noteworthy that Marcus was aboard Victory Takeover in both of that filly’s last two wins.

There are a couple of other runners on the night who might be worth taking a look at.

The Gavin van Zyl-trained Spiritos (Race 6, a FM 66 Handicap over 2000m) won well on debut and looked a promising filly so it was disappointing that she never followed it up next time out but the big step up in trip is noted and this could bring about a much better run.

This Mogok filly certainly has more scope than likely rivals Donna Amata and Queen Delta.

Bank The Cash is another who looks to be suited by the step to 2000m of Race 7, a Maiden Plate, and the Bankable filly is set to improve on her sixth place finishes in both her starts to date.

Pocahontas Girl disappointed last time out on the turf but her best run to date was over the course and distance that she competes in Race 8, a Maiden Plate over 2000m and jockey Anthony Delpech could increase his win tally aboard her.

The Noordhoek Flyer filly will have to overcome a wide draw though.

Ideal World fillies have improved when put over a bit of ground and that could be the case for Eternal Blossom and she could be the danger to Pocahontas Girl.
