Take a ticket on Rikitikitana

Race 4, a MR 93 Divided Handicap over 1600m on the Polytrack could be just the race for him.

If one looks at the face value form of Rikitikitana’s last six starts you could argue he had lost his way but you may be wrong on that count as his last run when only 2.25 lengths behind Redcarpet Captain suggested he could be ready to strike.

Race 4, a MR 93 Divided Handicap over 1600m on the Polytrack could be just the race for him.

Rikitikitana started off his career with a lot of promise and has always looked at his best around this 1600m distance.

This Toreador gelding may also just have been in need of his latest start which was his first taste of the Polytrack and over a distance short of his best.

A wide draw of 11 could be a problem but in jockey Muzi Yeni he has a brave enough rider to come across early.

The Charles Laird yard has found some good form and Stormy Eclipse has proven to be lethal over this course and distance so deserves the utmost respect. Stormy Eclipse will be carrying top weight and gives Rikitikitana 4kg.

Three others who are worth looking at on the card are Onesie in Race 2, Roy Is Second in Race 3 and Westchester in Race 5. Onesie has fair form behind her and meets some modest rivals.

Roy Is Second has been a bit unlucky to date but should prefer the step up in distance.

Westchester may have got a softer than intended ride last time out and jumps from pole position now. He should be worth a nice eachway bet at he looks booked for at least a place.
