Malema wishes Jenny Chwrys-Williams well (audio)

Carpets at the 702 Studios might needs a good rinse after legendary radio personality Jenny Crwys-Williams stepped after 22 years.

Tears from her producers, and co-hosts were aplenty during her last broadcast today between 1pm and 3pm.

Her last broadcast started with EFF’s Julius Malema saying: “Many of the presenters can learn a lot of things from you. The last time I was there I really enjoyed the interview and I wish you all the very best in the future.”

Her career has been noted as always having flair of fabulous intertwined with actuality.

From January her timeslot will be taken over from Sam Cowen, in a similar styled show.

Crwys-Williams said she’s going to continue to be involved with arts, and will maintain her presence as a lifestyle-guru.

She also hinted that she would continue with high-profile interviews she has become famous for, but for now the queen of talk has left the 702 building.
