‘No time to Die’: Bond girl’s best fashion looks

As Bond girl fashion outfits go, the latest film's looks were somewhat disappointing.

Daniel Craig’s last dance as James Bond 007 ended on a high note.

The actor, who portrayed this iconic role for nearly 15 years, definitely did himself justice particularly with the new emotive take on his relationship with the new bond girl.

Bond girls are iconic in their own right – from Halle Berry as Jinx, Eva Green as Vesper Lynd and first-ever bond girl Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder. In the latest bond movie, No time to Die, Léa Hélène Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne is the latest Bond girl as Dr Madeleine Swann.

She is integral to the storyline and can hold her own. Swann doesn’t need Bond to save her, in fact, when you watch the film, she saves him more often than not. Swann is a psychological doctor and the daughter of the mysterious villain named Spectre. Swann first appeared in the 2015 bond film after her father’s name, Spectre.

But as it comes, being a Bond girl isn’t only about kicking ass; her fashion looks count for something as well. Die-hard fans will never forget Honey Ryder’s iconic ivory swimsuit and Jinx’s orange version which paid homage to the original.

Swann as a character is French and we are not going to lie, we had high hopes that her fashion game was going to be on another level. Of course, French attire is usually simplistic and classic chic, but Madeleine Swann’s was borderline boring.

However, there were a few looks that were cute.

Rouje Gabin flower dress

This floral red dress epitomised Bond and Dr Swann’s relationship during many of their intimate scenes on the Italian Riviera – beautiful romantic locations and island getaways.

The summertime daytime dress, great for vacations, is designed by Rouje Gabin. The outfit is completed with a Tod’s double bucket bag mini and white Canvas Espadrilles wedge sandals.

Simple and timeless.

Classic in white

This white button-down dress has been replicated a few times and will be done more so due to the success of the film and the influence of Seydoux.

The dress is quite flattering on many body types and similar versions are available in many retail stores.

Paloma

All we have to say to Paloma is, thank you! Paloma is a Cuban agent played by Cuban actress Ana de Armas in No Time To Die.

Paloma is a new agent working for the CIA, her scene is not longer than 15 minutes but her appearance stays with the viewer for much longer.

The dark-blue silk or satin gown is an open neck and back dress designed by Michael Lo Sordo Alexandra. The jewellery worn is by Chopard and this showstopper Paloma wore may be considered “iconic” in years to come and what we were looking for in a Bond girl.
