Buscor launches first of its kind bi-articulated buses in world

These train-buses can accommodate 137 seated passengers.

MBOMBELA – While the amount of transport and traffic on South Africa’s roads continues to rise, Buscor in cooperation with MAN (Truck & Bus), not only set an example to South Africa but also to the rest of the world this Transport month as they became the first of their kind to launch 12, 27m bi-articulated commuter buses to operate on non-dedicated routes.

Both the minister of Transport, Ms Dipuo Peters and the MEC of Public works, roads and transport, Ms. Dumisile Nhlengethwa congratulated them for the milestone they achieved and officially launched these train-buses which can accommodate 137 seated passengers.
