UPDATE: EFF Demands to see MEC Vusi Shongwe
The EFF is marching in support for the more than 1000 workers that were dismissed in April.

MBOMBELA – The MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Mr Vusi Shongwe received the memo on behalf of premier Mr David Mabuza a few minutes ago.
The EFF’s provincial leader Mr Collen Sedibe said the premier had 30 days to respond to their demands relating to the appointments of new security.

MBOMBELA – According to local members of the EFF, MEC Vusi Shongwe will be present to receive their memorandum today.
MEC Shongwe is however not available and members of the EFF are now refusing to hand over the memorandum to the office of the premier, demanding that MEC Shongwe receive it himself.
