Help Tubatse Crossing to bring cheer and joy to young hearts
The centre is pleading to residents and companies to help fill the 200 boxes before the official handover
BURGERSFORT – The Tubatse Crossing Shopping Centre has initiated its Close-to-our-Hearts campaign, which will be running during the festive season period.
“Our campaign aims to teach communities the importance of giving back, regardless the cost of the gift. We took the initiative to buy 200 boxes and decorated them with Christmas stickers to distribute them to the less privileged children in schools within the Tubatse Crossing vicinity. We attend on inviting all the kids in their respective uniforms for a celebration handover of the gift boxes at the shopping centre on December 4,” said Caroline Modjadji, marketing manager.
The centre is pleading to residents and companies to help fill the 200 boxes before the official handover. “We cannot give empty boxes to the children. We will really appreciate it if the Tubatse community can assist us to make it a memorable Christmas for everyone,” she added.
The gift box can be filled with items to the value of R100. Items must include toiletries such as a facecloth, toothbrush, deodorant or soap, stationery like colouring pencils, eraser, sharpeners or notebooks or non-perishable items.
If anyone is willing to assist, visit the centre management department at Tubatse Crossing Shopping Centre or contact 013-231-7856/082-658-6655.
