Cheap Cheap’s braai competition a winner
Cheap Cheap supplied the meat, but the suppliers had to make their own boerewors. The shoppers did not go home empty-handed, as some of them won meat vouchers and goodies after a lucky draw.
BURGERSFORT – Shoppers had an opportunity to taste a variety of wors and hot dogs prepared by Cheap Cheap and its loyal suppliers.
The store hosted a braai competition with its suppliers which included Deli Spice, Freddie Hirsh and Crown National. They took turns to braai for the customers and showcase their tasty spices. Customers were asked to pick the tastiest, best-braaied boerewors roll.
Cheap Cheap supplied the meat, but the suppliers had to make their own boerewors. The shoppers did not go home empty-handed, as some of them won meat vouchers and goodies after a lucky draw.
Tebogo Mokoo of Ga Madiseng was one of the lucky shoppers as she went home with a R1 000 meat voucher. Kgothatso Mashego was happy win a big barrel braai stand worth R700, while Marcia Magowa was excited to receive a meat hamper
of R650.
The top supplier was Deli Spice, that won the braai battle with its Kameeldoring spice. The money made from the sale of the boerewors rolls was handed to Dennis Brits of Op-en-Wakker group, an organisation of senior citizens in Ohrigstad. It was handed to him by the young Ferdinand Visser.
