VIDEOS: The most disliked videos on YouTube ever

Loading a video onto YouTube seems like a good idea, but for these five people took a turn for the worse.

5. Psy – Gangnam Style

Although this crazy trend has more than 2,8 billion views, making it the most viewed video on YouTube, it comes with a bit of a mixed reaction. The song is about the wealthy lifestyle in Seoul, and some people loved the catchy tune and dance routine, but others found it to be vulgar and it currently has 1,53 million dislikes.

4. Cortando a Botão do YouTube

This is a video of a Brazilian YouTuber, Aruan Felix, destroying his silver YouTube Play Button, which is awarded to people who reach 100 000 subscribers. He was close to 1 million subscribers at the time, and was curious to see what was inside the YouTube Play Button, but a vast majority of his viewers disagreed. A lot of his viewers said his actions were disrespectful, and it became the first video in Brazil to reach 1 million dislikes, and to this day the video has a staggering 2,34 million dislikes

3. Rebecca Black – Friday

Viewers and music critics dubbed this song as “the worst song ever”. Since its release, Friday has received overwhelmingly negative reviews and Rebecca Black became subject to many internet memes making fun of her. As a result, the poorly written lyrics and her bad singing voice, she became the laughing stock of YouTube at the time. To date the video has 2,7 million dislikes.

2. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Reveal Trailer

The game trailer is the second most disliked video, and the most disliked gaming-related video on YouTube. The video received 1,5 million dislikes in just 8 days as fans weren’t too pleased with the sci-fi setting, deeming it as “too futuristic”. Not only this, but fans were also angry by the fact that the remastered edition of Modern Warfare was not a standalone edition, meaning that you also need to purchase Infinate Warfare in order to be able to play the game. The video currently stands on 3,56 million dislikes and to this day, comments are negative towards the game.

1. Justin Bieber – Baby

Justin Bieber’s debut song is currently the most disliked video on YouTube, standing at 7,86 million dislikes. The song, as Bieber puts it, is a song that everyone can relate to; trying to impress a girl that you like. The song was highly criticised by many for its use of repetition, as well as Bieber’s high-pitched vocals. In 2010, Baby was the most viewed video on YouTube, but was surpassed by Gangnam Style in 2012. Baby also made the Guinnes World Book Of Records for being the most disliked video on YouTube and the internet as of 2013.
