Lowveld High School Choir, under the baton of Bongani Mavundla, bagged the second place in the acclaimed kykNET Sing in Harmonie competition towards the end of 2019.
What made its FAK prize even more special was the fact that it competed with a song not written in the choir members’ home language, and was the only high school choir in the macro category to receive a standing ovation.
