IN PHOTOS: Laerskool Laeveld pupils motor at go-kart day
The day was filled with endless amounts of fun, smiles and laughter.
The learners of Laerskool Laeveld were finally able to thoroughly enjoy and have a blast at the school’s annual go-kart day.
The go-kart day was initially scheduled for last Friday, but the school postponed it for the safety of the learners due to the terrible weather that had been forecast.
Despite the postponement, the event was a raging success on Monday September 2.
Every learner donned colourful outfits to try and best represent their class for the day. There was one race per grade and the children had great fun battling it out around Laeveld’s athletics track.
The go-kart day also coincided with the school’s entrepreneur’s day, which was a great success as the learners put on their business caps and sold a wide variety of items to parents and fellow pupils alike.
