BARBERTON – Many moons ago, it was considered fashionable to stick to one company throughout your working life and employers would lift an eyebrow if a CV landed on their desks in which the applicant had been employed by several businesses.

All of this has changed over the past 20 years or so. In today’s day and age it is rarity to find someone working for the same company for years on end.

Generally nowadays in order to remain with one establishment for so long you need more than just loyalty.
You need to have the courage of your convictions and perseverance.

One such man is Malcolm Thomson, senior reaction officer at Hi-Tech Barberton. Over the past two decades, Thomson has become part of the furniture at Hi-Tech. He is extremely reliable and according to Sakkie Dednam, “an indispensable senior officer who makes the wheels at Hi-Tech run like clockwork”.

The whole team thanks him for his dedicated service and hopes to work with him for many more years to come!
