Church Unlimited will give youth from all over the country the opportunity to have fun and praise and worship at the Looking Up Youth Camp early in 2014.
NELSPRUIT – Youth from all over the country will once again have the opportunity to have fun and praise and worship at the Looking Up Youth Camp early in 2014.
It is hosted by Church Unlimited (CU) for youngsters aged 14 to 18 at the CU premises from January 8 to 11.
Youth leaders from all over South Africa will speak at the camp, a special worship band will provide live music and several activities will be presented on and around the premises.
Last year it was very successful with approximately 300 teenagers from as far as Cape Town, Ficksburg and Johannesburg attending. The camp promises to be even larger next year as organisers expect around 500 campers.
“We hope to impart a fresh vision to the young people so that they know that God has a unique purpose for their lives. This is an amazing opportunity for our local youth to be part of this national initiative,” says Shaun Adams, local organiser.
CU has a flourishing youth ministry with several weekly activities and meetings at local schools. The church also has a fully equipped youth centre where high school pupils meet on Friday nights and Sundays.
