The Rugga kids skills development organisation visited Uplands last week and gave preschool kids a day to remember. The children had the chance to handle a rugby ball and run around like real sport heroes.
Rugga Kids prides itself on teaching children a healthy and safe way to enjoy sports, and was founded in 2003 on a love for rugby and a passion for developing the youth. The organisation provides kids aged 3 to 8 an amazing opportunity to enjoy an easy way of learning vital motor skills, teamwork and the necessary skills for the game of rugby – all in a fun, healthy, sociable way.
Three shareholders in this organisation have had prestigious careers in rugby and now shares their skills with the youth. Neels Brits was a former Blue Bulls Primary Schools Craven Week coach, Walter Minnaar a former Lions/Sharks rugby player and Phillip van Coller was a former Blue Bulls Craven Week, Blue Bulls u/19, Sharks u/19 and u/21 rugby player.
