SKUKUZA – It was a historic occasion when the first flight into Skukuza Airport landed on Monday.
Two Airlink flights, one carrying mainly management and staff of SANParks and the other tourists, flew in from OR Thambo from 11:00 to 13:00.
The opening of the airport will be of great convenience to visitors who can now fly direct to Kruger National Park.

The official opening will take place later this year, only when the terminal and other facilities have been completed.
