McGee in good spirit after surgery
"I am thankful that I didn't sustain any other serious injuries and believe that I will have a blessed recovery".

Bernard McGee is out of surgery and in good spirit. After finishing third overall on the first day of the Toyota Desert Race in Botswana, McGee’s race was unfortunately cut short after hitting a rock, breaking both his tibia and fibula in the accident. McGee underwent surgery on Tuesday and is currently recovering at home. “I am thankful that I didn’t sustain any other serious injuries and believe that I will have a Blessed recovery”, he said leaving a message on facebook stating: ” ‘For I know the plan I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'”.
