At the wrong place at the wrong time

Another vehicle was turned over by an elephant bull, apparently in musth, in the Kruger National Park this morning.

The man whose vehicle was tipped over in the Kruger National Park this morning, pleaded that the elephant be left in peace.

The incident happened at Sable Dam eight kilometres from the Phalaborwa gate. According to a ‘ting’ on Latest Sighting – Kruger’s Facebook page, nobody got hurt. The victim, who was apparently travelling by himself told bystanders that: “The young bull is in musth, and just wanted to cross the road when the little red car annoyed him.”

SANParks general manager of communications and marketing, Mr William Mabasa , confirmed that the no one was injured and that the elephant will not be put down.
