Water problem is quickly attended to

A leaking valve was quickly repaired on Friday after complaints by residents.

The Mbomela Local Municipality seem to be taking water problems in town more seriously nowadays, after it swiftly repaired a leaking valve on Friday.

Concerned residents contacted White River Post on Friday morning, about what seemed to be a stream of sewage flowing down William Lynn Street, opposite KFC. Upon investigation, it turned out to be only water seeping out from underneath the paving.

Upon enquiry, the municipality confirmed they were aware of the situation and that the leaking valve had been repaired later that day.

Residents are urged to contact the White River Water and Sanitation office on 013-750-6021/6000 to register a complaint or report a leakage.
