The good news for all health fanatics in town is that Barberton now boasts its own gym.

Studio Be opened its doors to citizens last week and according to the owners, Werner and Bernadine Swanepoel, they are very excited about this new venture.

The couple, both fitness enthusiasts, said they saw a definite gap in the market and it didn’t take them long to make up their minds about opening a gym.

The facility boasts the latest equipment and offers great packages. Anyone who decides to join will receive personal training, a healthy diet and exercise programme and on top of that Bernadine is a consultant for Herbal life, which makes it much easier to stay in shape.

A six-month contract costs R300 per month, but members can also join on a month-to-month basis for R350 per month. Another great choice is the cardio option for R150 per month.

Studio Be is situated at 34 De Villiers Street and is open from Mondays to Fridays from 06:00 to 20:00 and on public holidays from 07:30 to 12:00.

Enquiries: Bernadine on 082-840-6695 or like the Facebook page, Studio Be for great tips and to keep up with the latest health matters.
