Local choir makes its people proud
A local choir, Batsumi ba Lentsoe, has won an award in the category of best clap and tap at the first Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards ceremony which took place on Sunday at Mbombela Stadium.
LYDENBURG – A local choir, Batsumi ba Lentsoe, has won an award in the category of best clap and tap at the first Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards ceremony which took place on Sunday at Mbombela Stadium.
Nsizwa Nyundu, choir coordinator, said they went to the ceremony, came back with an award and made history in their community.
“If it wasn’t for the support we received from our sponsors, community, supporters and voters we wouldn’t have made it,” he explained.
“We would like to thank A1 Dry Clean, Longtom Spar, TMM Entertainment, Maleshoko Deco, BFS, Bon Tak Trading, Nyanashakwana, Zizwe, Godfrey Mamaila and members of the choir,” Nyundu added.
