Suspects nabbed for drug possession

LYDENBURG – Two suspects were caught with dagga worth over R1 million at the Boulders, Lydenburg on Saturday, June 20. According to Lydenburg SAPS communication officer, Sgt Elizabeth Magoa, the police received a tip-off about dealers in the area.

“On their arrival they found two men in a house at Meadow Street in the Boulders. Bags of compressed Swazi dagga were found and confiscated and the two men were arrested promptly,” she said.

“The dagga weighed 93,5 kilograms and has an estimated street value of R1,2 million,” she added.Read more in the next print edition of the Steelburger/Lydenburg News.
