Nature takes the stage at Rusoord

LYDENBURG – Rusoord old-age home held a splendid environmental evening, called Fashion to Extinction: The Future of our Wildlife on Friday June 19 in its dining room.

This annual nature conservation event received a great response from the community and the turnout was great.

Lydenburg’s residents had the opportunity to listen to presentations from Gerrie Camacho about human impacts on predators, Ursula Franke on cranes in South Africa, Carl Huchzermeyer on Bangweulu Parks and Megan Loftie-Eaton presented some of the Animal Demography Unit (ADU) projects.
