Suspects wanted for robbery

TONGA -According the complainant, a 44-year-old female, she was asleep in her house with her children when the suspects, who wore hats and camouflaged clothing, pointed a gun at her and covered her face with a blanket and demanded money which she did not have.

It is alleged that the suspects had gained entry through the bathroom window. They escaped on foot with the stolen valuables.

A case has been opened at the Tonga Police Station and police have launched an investigation.

Tonga Police Station commander, Brig Velisiwe Mdaka, is appealing to anyone to come forward with information that will lead to the arrest of suspects.

She said, “Together as one we can make it, let’s work together and fight crime.”
