Local couple ties the knot during bike rally
We chose the rally for our wedding reception due to the fact that we both enjoy the adventure and adrenalin of biking
BURGERSFORT – Ryno Grimmick and Chanice Verster exchanged their vows last Saturday during the Staffie Bike Rally in Pilgrim’s Rest. Past Neels Beukes of the AFM Church Steelpoort officiated the wedding ceremony. Bikers from all over attending the rally celebrated this special occasion with the couple.
“We chose the rally for our wedding reception due to the fact that we both enjoy the adventure and adrenalin of biking. Bikers clubs are more than just a group; the people in your club become like family and what better way to celebrate your wedding with all of your family members. Still following the traditional wedding ceremony, we added the biker-rally aspect because that’s what we enjoy together and is an important part in both our lives,” said Chanice.
She added that although she wore a white wedding gown with a veil, she added a little biker flair to it by wearing a leather jacket and boots. Both Ryno and Chanice are very excited to start their new life together as
Mr and Ms Grimmick also have a little one on the way and Ryno says he cannot wait to tell the baby about their unique wedding celebration.
