TONGA – Last week 25-year-old Mr Bongani Msimango was arrested for possession of dagga in Madadeni Trust. SAPS members were performing a stop-and-search operation around Sector 4 when they stopped a taxi and searched the commuters. The suspect was then found in possession of dagga weighing 1,616kg with a street value of R5 000. A case of possession of dagga has been opened against Msimango and he appeared in the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court on the same day as his arrest. Tonga Police are appealing to the community to supply information when they suspect any criminal activities around their communities, because it starts with the selling of a matchbox of dagga, and ends in rapes, house robberies, and business robberies – the list is endless.
