MASHISHING – A 38-year-old man was shot dead at Jock street in Mashishing on Tuesday night. According to a witness at the scene the deceased was on his way home from work when the incident happened.

According Lydenburg police spokesperson Sergeant Elizabeth Selwaletau Magoa the deceased was shot four times in the head. “The gunman opened fire five times although he missed once, the deceased was confirmed dead at the scene,” she said.
