Audience ethralled by actor’s one-man show

LYDENBURG – Altus Theart had the crowd eating out the palm of his hand during his live solo comedy show, Hoe ‘n man se kop werk on Saturday in the Bonaparte Theatre at the De Ark Guest House.
Theart is a South African actor, singer and voice artist, known for his television roles as Henk Landman in Kruispad and as Fafa Beltrame in Getroud Met Rugby.
The show left the audience with mixed feelings. The women happily agreed with what was said about men, but did the men agree? The comedy was one of those performances that was enjoyed by the locals and they all left asking for more.
According Amanda Comacho, one of the guests, she enjoyed it. “It was great and everything that was said, was simply a confirmation of what we already knew,” she said.
