Rugby club prepares for a very busy season

On Tuesday Malalane Rugby Club started with its practice sessions for the upcoming season. Furthermore the club also announced its management team for 2016.

Club vice-chairman, Shayne Adcock spoke to Corridor Gazette ahead of the club’s first practice match. He said, “Malelane Rugby Club is back in action as the new season is fast approaching. Practice started this week and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 18:00. All new and old players are invited to join and build up to what is going to be a good year.”

Preparations for the first event of the year are already under way. “The first official club event will be the Lowveld Sevens tournament to be held on Saturday February 6. Fixtures and times will be announced later. More club events, fixtures and information will be posted in the near future,” Adcock said.

“We look forward to seeing you all at the home of the Elephants,” he said.
