BREAKING NEWS: Woman robbed in broad daylight
Police said that the woman was severely traumatised and were taken to hospital.
LYDENBURG – At 11:10 a woman was overpowered by three suspects who broke into her complex home at the Sterkspruit smallholdings.
According to police on the scene, the victim had come home from town and the suspects were already inside the house upon her arrival. They were armed with knives and demanded the safe keys from her.
It is also said that the suspects tried to push something in the form of a pill into her mouth. Police said she was severely traumatised and was taken to hospital. It is still unclear how the suspects gained access to the home. Forensics are still on scene. In the meantime, camera footage at the complex will be scanned for any leads regarding the suspects and how they gained access to the house.
Her name could not be disclose at this time.
