Mutilated body dumped on the street
An intensive police investigation is underway after a mutilated body was discovered on a street in Tsakani Trust in Mariti.

Community members came across the corpse around 06:00 this morning and immediately notified the police. It was found that the victim’s genitals, lips and nose had been removed and that he was dumped not far from his house.
According to Mpumalanga SAPS communication officer Sgt Gerald Sedibe, preliminary investigation has revealed that the man was killed inside his house and dragged to a nearby street.
No arrests have been made yet and a case of murder is being investigated.
