SAPS conduct raid in Marloth Park

SAPS and other safety and security organisations banded together to route out criminal activities in Marloth Park and surrounds.

MARLOTH PARK – The SAPS, Sector Policing Forums and other role players planned and conducted a raid in Marloth Park on March 24. Several raids are conducted throughout the year to route out crime and put a stop to criminal activities like illegal shebeens and trading and illegal immigrants working in the area.

According to Komatipoort SAPS spokesman Natacia Mbuyane, crime is steadily declining in Marloth Park. SAPS thanked all role players for the time and effort put into these operations.

Residents and property owners are urged to inform the SAPS and Sector Policing Forums of any illegal shebeens or other illegal happenings in the area. Contact Sanet Bruins-lich on 072-893-3211.
