Drug dealer set to appear in court

According to the investigation, Ejike is not a first time offender.

A 30-year-old Nigerian man, Ani Ejike Goodwill, whom was arrested on Friday, March 4 at Pretorius Street 28 for dealing in drugs, is set to appear again in Barberton Magistrate Court on Tuesday. This after he was given bail of R1 000 on March 9.

The arrest was done by the K9 White River SAPS unit (Narcotic Detective handler) and took place after Ejike sold eight packets of CAT (Methcathinone) to an undercover police officer. On being searched, drugs were also found on him as well as some cash which was seized and is currently being kept in the exhibits room. According to the investigation, Ejike is not a first time offender.

He was previously arrested at Durban Central Police Station and was charged with Possession or usage of dependence producing substances (Heroin and XTC).
