KOMATIPOORT – Local SAPS spokesperson Const Natacia Mbuyane stated the police were contacted at about 12:30 and found the body of an African man, estimated to be in his mid-thirties, wearing blue pants and a green t-shirt.
Police are still trying to identify the man and determining the cause of death.

This is the third time in a month that passersby have found bodies next to roads in the area.
The other two bodies were both found in the Malalane area on June 20. The first was that of missing resident Wouter Vosloo, which was found early morning in the bushes near Fish Eagle Bend. Read more about the incident here.
The second was of an unidentified man, which was found in a ditch near the sugar-cane fields next to the N4. The case is still being investigated.
