Mother and daughter make beauty easy for city’s women
Power mother-and-daughter team, Liezel and Zandri Visser, are the new owners of Lizanco Beauty Academy MUD Make-up Designory in the Sonpark centre. They held the grand opening for the new walk-in shop at the end of last month.
They hope to become distributors of the MUD make-up brand to the whole of Mpumalanga, and appear well on their way to doing so, according to Anine van der Westhuizen who does the marketing for the company.
Liezel, who is passionate about fitness, started out as a personal trainer and combined her fitness career with a dream come true in the beauty industry with her daughter, Zandri.
MUD opened up in the Lowveld in 2014 and Lizanco Beauty Academy took over the distribution of the product in April.
As well as the Sonpark shop where you can feel, test, smell and fall in love with the product range, the Vissers also offer workshops where they will teach the basic techniques of how to do one’s own make-up.
According to Van der Westhuizen, “They also offer one-on-one sessions, hair styling for special occasions and short courses in make-up.”
Lash extensions and threading will be added to the list of services in due course.
“Lizanco Beauty Academy strives to offer outstanding service and to expand its services and offerings throughout the region,” she said.
