The reality of this was told with sensitivity in Desert Rose. A choir accompanied the telling of this heart-wrenching story. The singing was of an extraordinary standard. Songs like Simon and Garfunkel’s “Sounds of Silence” were used to encompass the hush surrounding human trafficking and its many victims.

Desert Rose was produced by Velia Jansen, choreographed by Fearika Janse van Rensburg and the choir was conducted by Tina Tlou. The talented pupils deserve praise for their sterling performances.
