New Komati shopping centre opens this week
The new Komatipoort Shoprite Centre is set to officially open on Wednesday morning with lots of specials and entertainment.

KOMATIPOORT – Just in time for the festive season, the much-anticipated Shoprite Centre will officially open on Wednesday morning (November 23).
The R60 million investment was developed by the Moolman Group with Slipway Developments and is situated on Rissik Street opposite the Komati Square shopping centre.
The 5 600m2 centre is anchored by the only Shoprite in town and will boast a retail mix of local groceries, fashion, services and speciality stores, including Shoprite Liquor, Mr Price, Standard Bank, Pep, Shoe City, Studio 88, Autozone, Sleepmasters, Pep Cell, Kanhym Biltong and a new pharmacy.
Due to its convenient location, the centre is easily accessible, with ample free parking for visitors.
As a result of Komatipoort’s expanding infrastructure, council has earmarked the property adjacent to the new development for construction of a formal taxi rank, which will drive even more prospects to the centre.
Moolman Group’s vision for the future includes plans for possible further development, with more available land adjacent to the centre, which could be developed to meet the demands of the growing town.
The new development will not only bring more variety and easy shopping to the residents of Komatipoort, but also boost the economy of the town by creating much-needed employment and lucrative leasing opportunities.
Locals are invited to come and check out all the new stores and products on offer.
