Matsulu police recover hundreds of stolen items

Following a tip-off from community members, Matsulu police managed to arrest a suspect and recover goods worth thousands of Rand.

MATSULU – Clothing, houseware, watches, cellphones and hundreds of other items worth thousands of Rand were recovered yesterday after a tip-off by community members.

Police arrested a suspect and managed to link him with murder and house robberies in the area.

The suspect will appear in the Matsulu Magistrate’s Court today.

Community members are urged to visit the police station to identify and collect their stolen property.

Cluster Commander Maj. Gen. Dorah Xaba thanked the community for the information that led to the suspects arrest and urged them to continue working with the police to eradicate crime.
